Skyryse Office Lobby Redesign
I was tasked with updating the Skyryse home office lobby in Los Angeles, transforming it from an outdated space into one that truly reflects their cutting-edge flight software and new brand identity. Knowing that high-profile clients often visit, I aimed to create an environment that immediately showcases Skyryse's innovative nature. My design incorporates vibrant video walls displaying a soft sky gradient, paired with smooth metal materials. This combination visually represents how their technology seamlessly blends with the grace of flight, much like a helicopter moving effortlessly through the sky. The result is a refined, contemporary space that appropriately reflects the masculine and modern energy of their updated branding.

Beyond aesthetics, my design process for the Skyryse lobby was heavily influenced by practical considerations and user experience. A primary goal was to be fiscally responsible, leading me to strategically utilize the existing modern furniture. This allowed for the majority of the budget to be dedicated to the custom welcome desk and its impactful backdrop, elements crucial for making a strong first impression.
To ensure the new reception area was highly functional, I engaged in direct consultations with both the lobby receptionist and the operations manager. This collaboration was essential for understanding their day-to-day needs and integrating specific features, such as abundant power outlets and secure, lockable storage behind the desk. This focus on designing a space that is truly usable and efficient for those who inhabit it daily is a cornerstone of my design philosophy. I believe that successful design seamlessly integrates both form and function, creating environments that are not only visually appealing but also highly practical for their users.
